Finding people’s passwords is not such an easy thing. But maybe you are ready to give this one a try.

Have you seen some geometric symbols on items that were collected from his office. What could those connect to?

Look closely at the picture of Tucker; Joel’s dog. There are some symbols on this picture. Can you find any other objects with these symbols?

What happens if you take a receipt and place it on the picture such that the symbols on the two overlay? Try this with all of them.

You find some letters! Perfect. Maybe there is something on each receipt that will help you put the numbers in order.

Don’t forget to look at the blue numbers next to the holes on the receipts. These suggest the order of the letter for each symbol and group of letters per receipt.

By now you should have been able to put the letters, per receipt, in order. But you also need to figure out how to form a word with all of them. Are there other items from his office that might refer to the shapes and help you order the groups of letters?

Did you look at the scratch sheet with Joel’s scribbles? Maybe something on this sheet can help you arrange the groups of letters in order.

There is a joke that Joel scribbled on the sheet. Geometric symbols appear in an order here. Maybe that is the order that you need the letters in?

The scrap sheet gives you the order triangle, square and circle. The blue numbers on the receipts give you order for letters that belong to a symbol. Letters are obtained by overlaying the receipts on the picture and looking through the holes. E.g., the triangle on the receipt will go over the triangle shape on the picture; this will give you two letters L and A (in this order).

Putting it all together, you get password.
