Have you found any items that refer to a gate?

Hint 2

There is a small note, not folded, which was hidden in one of the invitations. It writes, “The gate at the beginning…”

There are 6 other scribbles on the same sheet about colors and orientations/directions, e.g. “Red: Increasing”.

Can you find the colors in the note on any other objects you discovered so far?

It looks like the 6 keys you received match the colors on the note.

Have you noticed that all keys have an intricate black design on their long stem? Did you find that design anywhere else?

The same design that appears on the keys is drawn on the note! On the note it seems to be attached to a circle. What could you do with this?

What happens if you lay the keys, one by one, on the circle? Make sure the two intricate designs are over each other as well.

Every key reveals a few of digits on the circle. Maybe you can form numbers with them if you know in what order to take the digits.

You have the individual numbers now. But how can you determine which four to pick and in what order?

Use the small, unfolded paper you found in the invitation to solve this puzzle.

The colors written on the note refer to the keys you have in your possession.

The keys have a black pattern on them, and the sheet of paper has this same pattern drawn on it, which is connected to a circle. You can overlay the keys on the pattern/circle to reveal some numbers. By combining the colors of the keys with the “increasing” or “decreasing” you get the following numbers for each key:

Red: 1278
Brown: 93
Green: 832
Purple: 138
Yellow: 128
Blue: 379

Now that you have numbers, you need to narrow down four keys that you can use to access the gate. This will give you four numbers you need for each key. You also need to know the order of the keys.

The note talks about a “traditional familiar greeting”. The taxi driver from the airport told you that “Ciao” is a traditional greeting. This same greeting is written on the note as well.

You can use 4 of the keys to write out this greeting.

Look at the smaller end of the key (the one that will be entered in the lock), and notice how 4 of them actually carry the letters C, I, A and O.

Now you just have to sort the keys to say CIAO, and you end up with the numbers that will open the door;

C = Green = 832
I = Purple = 138
A = Brown = 93
O = Yellow = 128
