Hints

Hint 1
Have you used the eDNA test strips for each of the three sites? You only need to use one per site.
Hint 2

If you look at the test results from the strips you can tell which animal family the eDNAย detected, and how old the sample is.

Hint 3
The meanings of the symbols on the test strips can be found in theย Vulkan eDNA Test Kit brochure.
Hint 4
The test kits reveal the animal families to you, and the age of each sample.
Hint 5
You should have found: Feline the oldest, Panthera the second oldest, and Chordata the most recent sample.

Can you say exactly which animal from these families is the one that disappeared from each site? Perhaps Mr. Gurges sent you something that can help identify the specific animals.

Hint 6
Have you looked at the Animal Encyclopedia already? Maybe this will help narrow down the animals.
Hint 7

Too many possibilities for the Feline animal family? Perhaps there is another item that can help narrow it down.

Hint 8
Have you looked at the article on the first page of the Cryptid Observer yet?
